Quiet and private house overlooking the sea. Ideal for families, with space to relax, dine outdoors and enjoy the heated outdoor hydromassage with the sea on the horizon. About 10 minutes walk from the village of Almoçageme, where you will find grocery stores, bakery, fishmonger, butcher, hairdresser and cafes, 15 minutes from the village of Penedo and 25 minutes from Adraga beach. 15 minutes by car from Sintra, 25 minutes from Cascais and 40 minutes from Lisbon airport. The space The house has a double bedroom, a spacious bathroom and a large living room with dining space, kitchen and living space with sofa and television. The house is equipped with air conditioning and a fireplace with firewood for the winter. The spaces are spacious and modern, and the kitchen is completely new and fully equipped. The outdoor space is private, spacious and overlooking the sea where you can enjoy a heated hydromassage to relax . There is also a barbecue you can use, equipped with a sink and a a support kitchen. Guest access The house has easy access and private parking in the courtyard leading to the house. The neighbourhood is quiet and familiar. You can take walks to the village of Penedo and from there, you can go to the mountains through Boca da Mata. You can also go to the village of Almoçageme and do your shoppin. There is a grocery store with all kinds of vegetables and fresh fruit, as well as organic products and products suitable for vegans and vegetarians. (Dias & Rodrigues). You can also find butcher, fishmonger and bakery. You can find a modern and cosy restaurant "O Sisudo". If you want to use public transport, there is a bus stop 2 min from the house, where the Scotturb bus 403 passes, every half hour either in the direction of Cascais or in the direction of Sintra. There are trains to Lisbon from Sintra and Cascais. Other things to note About 10 minutes away by car are the beaches of Adraga, Grande and Maçãs. Within 15 minutes by car, you can visit several places: Palace and gardens of Monserrate, Convento dos Capuchos, Convento da Peninha with its marvelous and gorgeous view over the Atlantic coast, the Tagus river and Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Don't miss a visit to Azenhas do Mar, a small village perched on the cliffs above the sea. The cliff walks are of impressive beauty and you can go from Adraga to Ursa Beach or from Adraga to the top of Praia Grande by small cliff tracks. At the top of the staircase that gives access to Praia Grande you can observe Dinosaur Footprints on the almost vertical limestone bench located there. It is very interesting to visit the Adega Regional de Colares, in Colares and the Adega do Casal de Sta Maria, in Casas Novas, where you can taste and buy the regional wines of Colares. Colares has been a Controlled Denomination of Origin since 1908, the westernmost region of Continental Europe and the smallest wine-producing region in the country. These wines are produced under very special microclimate conditions, on a sandy floor, even today according to traditional techniques and from indigenous grape varieties (80% of "Ramisco" grapes) About 25 min. by car you can visit the village of Cascais, the Guia Lighthouse, Boca do Inferno and Guincho beach with its dunes. Within 35 minutes you can visit the fishing village of Ericeira where you will find the best fish and seafood restaurants. In the Colares region, I recommend the following restaurants: "Toca do Júlio", "Neptuno", "Búzio", "Bar do Fundo", "Adraga", "Nortada" and "Água e Sal". In Aldeia da Praia, Praia das Maçãs, you can find Italian pizzas at "Pizzaria AMA", craft beer, Sushi and wine by the glass. The bar "O Moinho" in Azóia is a place to enjoy the wonderful view over the entire coast and watch the sunset in the late afternoon. Registration Details Exempt
