Cosy Lake District cottage close to the beach

On the edge of the Lake District where the mountains meet the sea you will find Ash Bank. Located in the tranquil village of Silecroft, home to one of Cumbria’s most popular beaches it’s the ideal location for action packed days climbing fells or simply taking it easy in the beautiful country garden. The house boasts stunning views of Black Combe and just minutes walk to the local pub for that all important pint. Also, with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths you’re not short of space for the whole family. The space The house itself is a terraced cottage set back from the main road in a private estate. There is ample off street parking with the house and for those who aren’t driving it’s just minutes from silecroft village train station. There is a well sized private rear garden for your sole use and an open sitting area at the front. Guest access You will have the entire property at your disposal during your stay. This includes the front patio, the whole house and the well sized back garden with an outdoor dining space and BBQ. There is private off street parking for up to 2 cars in the designated areas. Other things to note The village of Silecroft is an excellent base for any Lake District holiday. The cottage is just a short walk to the beach where there are refreshments and toilets available. From the beach you can access to new coastal walk which will take you 8 miles along the coast through fields and along sea side cliffs boasting amazing scenery.. (and a few friendly local cows on certain days). As well as the beach there is silecroft golf club open to visitors and members alike. There are discounted rates for guests of ash bank and footgolf for the younger members of your group. For those of you who fancy a challenge there is the walk up black Combe, the imposing local fell you can view from the cottage. If you can time it right for sunrises and Sunsets you’ll be given an amazing view not to be missed.
