Private single occupancy room with double bed in converted 19th century brick schoolhouse. Fantastic natural light, plant friendly space. One of six private bedrooms within this large shared unit. Our space provides a calm and relaxed environment four subway stops from Manhattan, and this is a big reason people love staying with us. We offer a minimum of thirty day stays, typically from the beginning to the end of the month. Please message us before making a reservation request. The space The Schoolhouse is a well known architecturally stunning artist loft in Bushwick. The main highlight is the massive common area, with a 28 foot ceiling, and huge 8 foot high windows lining both sides of the loft providing ample natural light. You can have a cup of coffee, relax and read a book, hang out with the plants or soak up some late afternoon sun. The private room available is large, well over 200 sq ft with an elevated loft with a double bed, natural light from 2 windows, a desk and work table, couch and lounge area. We have a huge well lit kitchen with dishes, pots and pans available for your use. 1.5 baths, 2 separate toilets and one shower. There are a total of 6 bedrooms in the loft. Currently most of us work from home. Available rooms are single occupancy and guests are not permitted under any circumstances. Please feel free to ask questions. Guest access All common areas are available to the guest at all times. Be mindful that you will be sharing the space with others, especially the kitchen at dinner time and breakfast.
