Our building was designed by the renowned architect Franz Gessner and constructed between 1936 and 1937. This historical building is closely tied to the rich cultural heritage of Vienna, specifically Mozart’s famous opera "The Magic Flute" (Die Zauberflöte), which premiered at the nearby Freihaustheater auf der Wieden in 1791. We place a high value on preserving the original character and charm of our property. Situated in the heart of Vienna and equipped with an elevator, the apartment is overlooking into a side street, therefore it is very quiet, despite being in the middle of Vienna's vibrant city centre. The flat is situated in the 4th district near to the opera. This area is absolutely safe and famous for many contemporary art galleries. Lots of cafes and restaurants are in this area. Supermarkets just around the corner. - 4 minutes walk to the metro -Viennas state opera: 8 min walk -Naschmarkt-Viennas biggest market with many restaurants in all price categories: 2 Minutes -The museum-quarter, the biggest quarter for contemporary art in Europe with a bright range of bars and restaurants: 12 min walk Excellent public transport connection: Station "Karlsplatz" with underground line U1, U2 and U4 is only 4 min walk away. With line U1 you just need one stop to "Stephansplatz" where you find the famous St. Stephans Cathedral and the center of the old town.
