Cusgarne Manor is an historic boutique B&B in the heart of rural Cornwall, perfectly located for exploring the whole county. The Harris Room is on the 2nd floor with lovely views over the valley. It's a quirky attic room, level with the orchard where our goats live. Please note the low beam (1.46m) as you enter the room. Guests have access to the snug, honesty bar, garden and a 13-acre private nature reserve. Our breakfasts include home-made bread and have won Taste of the West Gold Awards. The space Harris is most people's favourite room in the house but it does have a beam (1.42m) you need to duck under at the entrance and it has limited headroom at the sides. The bedroom is painted in ‘Cornforth white’ which perfectly complements the lime-washed roof trusses and the shower room is a delicious dark clay colour. Guest access We're not in a village and it's very peaceful here. There is a local organic farm shop half a mile away and the nearest pub is 1 mile. Cusgarne Manor has rolling farmland to the south and fascinating mining heritage to the north, both of which can be explored on foot from the doorstep. It’s also the perfect base for exploring the whole of Cornwall by car as we’re halfway between the coasts and only 3 miles from the A30. There is private parking in the courtyard adjacent to the house. During your stay We normally operate self-check-in. However we live on site and are always available by phone for any questions.
