The place is secure and safe with a walled compound planted with various trees and flowers and a parking stand inside the compound. The area is a beach area and the road to the place is bumpy. The area is lively with the very friendly local people. This area is real Ghana and the residents live a very simple life. Normal security precautions must be observed. There is local beach bar night life around. Taxis are easy to come by. I use UBER alot to get around. The space The place is a small and unique round house. It meets my basic and simple requirements as a base to move around. The tiled bathroom leads off from the living room. The living room is the circumference of the house and has the fridge and chairs. The kitchen is accessed from the veranda. The tiled stairs are inside against the round wall and alight on the gallery style bedroom. The gallery style bedroom has wooden floorboards and houses the air-conditioning unit which cools down stairs to the living room. The tiled stairs ascends to the roof veranda. Guest access The guests are able to use all the spaces inside and outside. The Compound is a walled with a garden. The roof has an open terrace and the sea line is visible near by. Other things to note Take mosquito protection. Making sure doors are kept closed before dusk. And cover up or protect before dusk. Make sure you protect yourselves from mosquitos if out after dusk, and early morning. I bring a travel mosquito net for my own journeys, but they can be stuffy, but I like the secure feeling that no stray mosquito can get me. Even though the room is sprayed and windows have mosquito mesh.
