Other things to note General Frequently asked Questions: Staying with Holi: We go above and beyond to make your stay seamless and enjoyable. We can assist with booking affordable airport transfers and arranging car hire with convenient airport pick-up and drop-off options. Each guest is assigned a dedicated guest manager, available to promptly address any questions or needs during your stay. Additionally, we offer a diverse portfolio of accommodations across Malta, from stylish apartments to luxurious villas. If this property isn’t the perfect fit, we’re confident you’ll find something you love in our collection. Your Accommodation: Please note that the photos displayed might be of a very similar accommodation. Thus layout and views may vary depending on the location of your accommodation. However, rest assured that all accommodations offer the same amenities. Cleaning and Towel Change: As these are self-catering accommodations, we offer a refresh on a weekly basis upon request. If you require more frequent cleaning or towel changes, please request our price list. Adapters: Malta uses UK-style plugs. While we try to provide spare adapters when available, they are frequently misplaced or taken by previous guests. We recommend bringing your own or purchasing one from a nearby convenience store (€3 each). If you request one from us, please note that delivery may take over 24 hours depending on availability. Maintenance: While we perform regular maintenance on all our accommodations, occasional breakdowns may occur. Our dedicated team is available to address most issues within hours. However, certain repairs requiring specific parts or contractors may take up to 72 hours, especially when they occur on weekends. Unless the issue renders the accommodation uninhabitable, we will not offer changes or compensation. We strive to resolve maintenance issues promptly, however since we manage more then one property this is based on urgency and the gravity of the situation, for this reason our team may need to enter your accommodation while you are not present to carry out repairs, by booking you accept this. If you do not allow us to enter for maintenance, we cannot guarantee our team will be available when you are and the issue might not be resolved during your stay, no compensation will be given. Privacy: We respect your privacy. If you prefer that our cleaners or staff do not enter your accommodation, please inform us. However, if we deem it necessary to enter for an emergency or urgent maintenance/ hazard issue, we reserve the right to do so. Hot Water: All our accommodations are equipped with hot water heaters. If you do not have hot water, it is likely because the hot water heater has been switched off accidentally. Please check that the water heater is OM upon arrival and do not switch it off. When multiple guests share an accommodation, please be considerate and avoid running the hot water continuously. If one guest uses all the hot water during a shower, others may not have hot water available. Calling us to complain about this will not speed up the water heating process. On the rare occasion the water heater actually breaks down, we are equipped to change it within hours. Noise and Construction: Malta is a lively island, and noise is part of its charm. From daily fireworks during the summer to street bands, live music from pubs, and occasional construction nearby, you may experience various sounds during your stay. While we understand this can be disruptive, we cannot change your accommodation or offer compensation for noise-related complaints. Please keep in mind that this is a characteristic of the local atmosphere. Power Outages: Unfortunately, as a small island with limited resources, Malta may occasionally experience short power outages—particularly during the summer months when energy demand is at its peak. While these outages are infrequent, they are beyond our control. We are not responsible for such disruptions and do not offer compensation in these cases. Mosquitoes, and Pests: Additionally, the hot climate can attract mosquitoes. While we apply control measures, in summer we recommend that you apply mosquito repellent. Even if not frequent, due to our warm climate, you may also encounter one or two cockroaches. This has nothing to do with our cleanliness level and while we perform quarterly pest control, this is not an exact science and occasionally one may slip through. The probability is that you find it lifeless as the pest control would have worked after it got in, however If you encounter a live one, it is easy to terminate it with a shoe and rest assured that you likely won’t see another for the remainder of your stay. Humidity: Malta's warm, island climate can be humid, and properties built with limestone may feel more humid than what guests from cooler climates may be used to. While we understand this might be uncomfortable, we are unable to control the climate. We assure you that the beauty of Malta more than makes up for this minor inconvenience. TV: We have a BYOL (Bring Your Own Login) policy as all our TVs are smart TVs. This property has a TV in every bedroom. Parking: Before renting a car please be aware that like the majority of Maltese rental properties, unfortunately none of our properties offer private parking. In Malta public street parking is free, you can park in any white box available, some streets may have timed parking, please be aware of this. Also, please be aware that finding a free parking spot can be a challenge all over the Island. Baby beds and high chairs: Please note that we do not provide bed linen or pillows for the foldable baby bed for health and safety reasons, please remember to bring your own. Please personally request through private message any required baby beds or high chairs at least 48hrs before check-In. These can only be guaranteed if our staff confirms availability. We will gladly buy more if we don’t have available however please be considerate that stores don’t open 24/7 and we might not be able to provide one immediately if it is not requested 48hrs before check-in. Air Conditioning: In Malta we use split type systems both for cooling and heating. These units cool and heat very quickly and thus should only be used when you are inside the accommodation. It is against our house rules to leave them on when you are not in the accommodation. The Ideal temperature in summer is ‘Cool 23 degrees Celsius’ and ‘Heat 26 degrees Celsius’ in winter for these systems to run smoothly. If you set the temperature outside these parameters you increase the possibility of breakdowns or power outages.
