Sublet Lovely Room in Astoria, 3-4 months
Description
A lovely room with a double bed is available for people coming to New York for the summer to intern, study, or work. This large pre-war apartment in Astoria, Queens has an eat-in kitchen, living room, dining room, and gorgeous sun room. I live here with my room-mate. We are about a 4 minute walk to the subway station, and it's about a 12 minute subway ride to Manhattan. The space Welcome to NYC! We have one bedroom available for a longer term guest in Astoria, a trendy neighborhood in Queens. The apartment is an amazing spot. It's exceptionally large for an NYC apartment, with an eat-in kitchen, living room, dining room, and sun room. It has three bedrooms, but we only rent out one. This is a great place to choose if you are looking for a spacious, relaxing atmosphere. It's perfect for unwinding after a busy day in the city. The apartment is also incredibly convenient to key parts of the city. Less than a 5 minute walk to the N/Q subway line, you can get to Central Park in less than 15 minutes. See below for a list of travel estimates to major sites. For guests who are staying long-term, we ask that you help with household chores, just like a regular room-mate. We have a chore schedule and share cleaning responsibilities. The neighborhood is fantastic, with great restaurants and bars. It's also incredibly safe. My room-mate and I are very friendly, but also happy to give others their personal space. Please understand that we live here, so I screen guests very carefully. Please note: THERE IS NO TV. There is free wifi. You are welcome to stream Netflix on your laptop. We have a coffee maker and there's a large selection of teas, and a fantastic coffee shop just a 2 minute walk away. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all of the common spaces (living room, bathroom, kitchen). During your stay I often travel, so will be away for parts of the summer, by my room-mate will be here full-time. Other things to note There is only one bathroom.
