La Petite Garenne is a beautiful example of a ‘tiny house’, compact in size but big on comfort and character. On your arrival, you will appreciate the soft lines of its design and the warm, natural finish of the aluminium and solid poplar cladding. The space Inside, La Petite Garenne offers approximately 12m² (129 sq.ft.) of ground floor space, plus a further 5m² (54 sq.ft.) for the mezzanine bedroom. The open-plan living room comprises a sitting area with comfy sofa, breakfast bar with two high stools, storage shelves and wardrobe. The well-equipped kitchen area has a sink unit, fridge, and 4-ring gas hob. A gorgeous little wood-burning stove ensures you will be warm and cosy whatever the weather outside. Logs are provided in the winter months. A door leads through to the shower room (yes, a real shower with hot water!) where you will also find a washbasin and an ecological dry toilet. The bedroom is accessed via a short wooden ladder. Relax in comfort on the double mattress in natural latex, and enjoy a great view over natural woodland, vines, meadows, and truffle oaks. Throughout the interior, the warm, stylish decoration is inspired by nature and features maximum use of natural or low-emission materials. Outside, on the wooden terrace, a traditional Nordic-style wood-fired hot-tub will be heated and ready for your arrival. Immerse yourselves in the soothing water, then wrap up in the luxurious towelling robes provided and take in the sights and sounds of the peaceful surrounding countryside. Heaven! La Petite Garenne offers an alternative, more ecological approach to luxury accommodation, with minimal impact on the environment and with the preservation of natural resources. We encourage guests to embrace this philosophy during their stay. Guest access This tiny house is surrounded by wonderful countryside! From evergreen oak forests, to vines, truffle oak plantations and flowery meadows, the choice is yours, with easy access to footpaths and cycle tracks. You can park your vehicle just below the property. The parking space is reached via a rough track. If you have a low vehicle such as a sports car, you may prefer to park it safely at our family home a few hundred metres away and let us transport you to La Petite Garenne. PLEASE NOTE: The bedroom is on a mezzanine and is accessed via a ladder. It is therefore unsuitable for people with restricted mobility.
