Whether you simply want a place to retreat or are keen to embrace the great outdoors we believe The Farmhouse holds the key to give you the freedom to do as you please. The space This handsome old Farmhouse is located on Riverview Country Park & set in tranquil countryside edging the River Findhorn. Situated just over a mile from the picturesque town of Forres & within easy reach of exciting adventures & activities throughout Moray, Speyside and beyond. Whether you simply want a place to retreat or are keen to embrace the great outdoors we believe The Farmhouse holds the key to give you the freedom to do as you please. The space To the front of the house there is a large private green space surrounded by some old oak and pine trees. This is where the Eco Hot Tub nestles and the outside BBQ area. To the rear is a back yard. The house has ample parking for more than 3 cars. As you enter the property through the solid double doors you are presented with a wide staircase that leads you up to four bedrooms consisting of one king size bedroom with en-suite, one double bedroom with an en-suite, one twin bedroom, and another double bedroom. There is also a large bathroom with a bath on this floor. On the ground floor there are two further bedrooms, one king size bedroom and a double bedroom located off the lounge which gives good wheel chair access. There is a large shower room located on the ground floor. The kitchen has been recently refurbished is well appointed with an electric hob two ovens, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and plenty of work top prep area. Leading off the kitchen lies the utility room with tumble dryer and washing machine and plenty of storage. Adjoining the kitchen is the main lounge area with super comfortable sofas and a woodburning stove for those cold nights, along with 2 dining tables to gather comfortably with family or friends. If you prefer just to snuggle down in front of the TV and watch a film, play a board game or read a good book, then head to the living room which is a little more intimate and looks out onto the front lawn where you might even catch a glance of a Red Squirrel, or a Roe Deer which can often be spotted in the area. Depending on what your occasion, whether it be a family gathering, or a simple case of bringing all friends together the Old Farmhouse will be sure to meet your needs and keep you coming back for more. Please note although there is WiFi connection this can be intermittent due to the rural location of the Farmhouse. Guest access There is private parking directly outside The Farmhouse. Other things to note We allow by prior arrangement up to 2 dogs to stay at The Farmhouse. There is an extra charge and we have a Dog Policy. Details can be supplied at time of booking.
