This is a cypress cabin that has been around for over 100 years with many families. It has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, bathroom and living room and everyone’s favorite- a full back porch overlooking the river. It isn’t fancy but it has everything you need and a few extras. Sunrises on the porch with coffee is our personal favorite to watch the wildlife. Parties on the creek are pretty commonplace in the summer and the boats going by can feel a little like Mardi Gras…. Until hunting season….. The space Guests can access all space. We are just a ten minute drive from Fort Pillow State park which is a major hub for history students. They have hiking trails, paddleboats, playgrounds, lakes and a museum. We are surrounded by bodies of water for fishing enthusiasts. If you are a treasure seeker bring a metal detector! The master bedroom has a queen bed The 2nd bedroom has a queen The sofa pulls out with a queen bed *We have 2 single fold up beds upon request We also have a blow up mattress upon request. The loveseat also reclines. It is not new or trendy, but rustic, peaceful and enough to get by with to have a great time at the river. There is a boat ramp within walking distance and you can park your truck and trailer on our 1/2 acre property. Our neighbors are fantastic and will likely invite you to BBQ with them and have a drink or show you the ropes of fishing with the “cold creek mafia” a joke amongst the locals. You can be your authentic self, kids can be kids and everyone will love your super friendly, but well behaved dog. Guest access We also have three places on the corner of Hwy 87 and Fulton. If you need something, just ask because there is a good chance we have it in the gathering room. We often have big BBQ’s here and all guests are welcome. We have games, media and more here for everyone to use. Other things to note Ask me about special pricing for those who work in the hospitality industry and have off on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday! We have 5 additional cabins/properties. We can host family reunions, big events and weddings!Our cabins are rustic and not new. They also do not have wifi or cable tv. Our goal is for families to come here and interact with each other. Todays kids don’t have an opportunity to just be kids without the worries of the world. We want them to discover the outdoors. We want them to learn how to hunt and fish, to catch lightning bugs in a mason jar and dig up worms for their own bait, to skip a rock across a pond, to eat more blackberries than they bring for a pie.,To zip line until they are worn out,to build a tree fort and discover their own creek. There is so much to do when they start to use their imaginations and have a friend or two. We have a very large family ourselves and we bring our own grandchildren here for just that reason.
