Located at the upper end of Main Street in old town Challis, this 1930’s store front has been converted to a spacious getaway that is close to local restaurants and bars and within minutes of groceries, gas and shopping making it easy to plan your visit. The space At just over 800 sq ft, the Uptown House is a charming and spacious one bedroom, one bath cottage where you'll feel right at home. - The galley-style kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, plenty of cabinet space, and all the kitchenware to prepare a delicious meal. - The bathroom has an old school cast iron bathtub perfect for a soothing soak or a quick shower. - Drift off to sleep in the cozy queen-sized bed while enjoying the warmth of the electric fireplace or cooling of the window A/C in the bedroom. - The living area features a dining space for four, comfy seating including everyone's favorite, a leather LazyBoy recliner and a 43-inch TV with an abundance of channels to watch after a long day exploring the stunning mountains around Challis - Stay connected with high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi internet. There are two houses on this property that are separated by each unit's outdoor space. The Uptown House is accessed from Main Street and the Cabin @ 421 Main (Little Log Cabin) is access from the alley. Both are available for rent on AirBnB and are a great option for two couples traveling together. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and backyard garden. Parking in on Main Street in front of the house. The house is equipped with a smart lock system that allows for self check in. Prior to your stay you will receive your unique 4 digit entry code. Other things to note The house is located uptown and if you are staying during any major event there is the possibility of noise, otherwise Challis is pretty quiet.
