The space Welcome to Our Family Home: Enter through the majestic 9-foot wrought iron gate and step back in time in this iconic red brick Longère house, typical of the area and lovingly rebuilt after the Great War. The facade is beautifully adorned with manicured Virginia Creepers, inviting you into a home steeped in history and charm. Living Spaces Filled with Stories: The heart of the house is the kitchen, featuring period tiles and a brick bar that separates the dining area. It's fully equipped with modern appliances including: A Rosière induction cooktop Electrolux oven A mid-size refrigerator Siemens Dishwasher Faure washing machine There is also a microwave, toaster, water kettle, pots, and pans in different sizes, dishes, and glassware. For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso machine with pods ready to use. The large adjacent living room with period tiles and my parent's original furniture is the heart of the home. The expansive wood-burning fireplace is where Max and his family occasionally cooked special meals. The two large original bay windows flank the 11 Feet tall ceiling and face both the courtyard and the street. Enjoy your favorite Netflix series on a 55" 4K LG TV. The unique bistro, a favored spot of Max Meynier for entertaining and film editing, overlooks the courtyard and provides a perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment. The grand office/library next to the bistro has floor-to-ceiling wood paneling and looks out to the garden. Max's old office where he would write his RTL stories is now used as a bedroom with 2 additional beds. Rest and Replenish: The primary suite on the second floor, along with two additional bedrooms, offers comfortable sleeping arrangements and beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Each room is designed to provide a peaceful retreat, with sunlight streaming through during the day. Two fully renovated bathrooms, located on the first and second floors, blend contemporary conveniences with the home's historic charm. Private Outdoor Haven: Step outside to explore the private park, where centennial trees and a vibrant array of flowers create a picturesque landscape. Enjoy a soccer game on the manicured lawn, unwind in a lounge chair with a book, or indulge in outdoor dining amidst the beauty of nature.
