Green Cove Getaway with private pool and hot tub

Green Cove Getaway is the perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday. It is nestled next to lush green woods just across the road from the Virginia Creeper Trail and three miles from the Appalachian Trail. Located in the Mt. Rogers National Recreation area which provides opportunities such as fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding. The house is cozy and has a full size private pool and screened in area with hot tub which allows relaxation with family and friends. The space The perfect true escape from everyday life. This cozy cottage features a private pool (Memorial Day - Labor Day) and hot tub. Has the capacity to sleep up to 6 people with a queen size bed in bedroom 1, 2 twin beds in bedroom 2, and a queen size pullout sofa. Bedroom 2 is accessed via a ladder. The house however is not wheelchair accessible. Being located in the mountains there is no cell signal available but the phone line has unlimited long distance and we also provide internet access. Additionally, Dish network is available for our guests. We are dog friendly but ask that you please cleanup after your furry friends. We hope to see you soon! Guest access Private parking area that can accommodate 3 vehicles. We are a 30 minute drive to the town of Damascus with several options for bike rentals and 45 minutes from Abingdon known for the Barter Theatre. A 30 minute drive further up the mountain you will reach Grayson Highlands State Park where you can find several hiking trails and see the very well sought after wild ponies. Another great tourist attraction which is only 45 minutes away is the quaint little town of West Jefferson which includes fun locally owned businesses and also the cheese factory. Also note the closet full grocery store is located about 30 minutes away in Damascus or Chilhowie.
