This beautiful spacious attic room is a 5-minute walk from the center of Edam. It is wonderfully bright, high ceiling and completely in Ibiza style (Boho). You will feel right at home here! The attic room is located on the second floor of a new sustainable industrial home (built in 2020). It is an energy-neutral home. This house is located on a waterway. On beautiful summer days, many boats pass by, from small to very large, and you can even swim there. The space It is a lovely bright and beautifully decorated attic room. It has large windows overlooking continuous waterways, which ends at the Marker Meer. The room has a high ceiling and is in Ibiza style (Boho). Against the playful freestanding wall is a double bed (160 x 200 cm). Behind this wall you will find the bathroom, with a toilet, shower and sink. That makes it all very spacious and pleasant to stay. Also there is a large TV, nicely hidden behind the louver doors on the wall, and your own WiFi. And of course a large wardrobe, behind beautiful old doors. Here you can easily store all your belongings. The room is located on the second floor, and you can reach this room via our stairs in the house. The stay is without breakfast, but equipped with a coffee/tea corner with small fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle and dishes. Free coffee and tea are available in the room. On request, we can make breakfast (10 euros per person). We serve this breakfast in the room, or in our beautiful living room or possibly in the garden overlooking the water in fine weather. There is ample free parking space in the street near the house. If you are an avid smoker, we advise not to book with us. It is not practical, given that this room is on the 2nd floor and you have to go to the garden to smoke. Guest access Edam is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking and sailing in the typical Dutch landscape. In Edam, you can rent bicycles and cycle to Volendam, Purmerend, Broek en Waterland and Hoorn. There are many beautiful cycling routes. From Edam, it is only 25 minutes by direct bus to Amsterdam-Noord. From here, you can easily visit Amsterdam with the Noord-Zuidlijn. The beautiful large Markermeer (a large lake for sailing, swimming and fishing) is only a 10-minute walk away. During your stay We are always open to a nice meeting with our guests during the entire stay. Sometimes it's a cozy drink in the garden or in the living room. You can always ask questions, verbally or through the app. We take good care of our guests. Other things to note If you would like to go out in Amsterdam until late into the night, we recommend choosing another accommodation. Our stay is not the best choice given the accessibility at night and the nuisance with the neighbors.
