Agnes Water Views - Luxe stay, stunning views

Welcome to Agnes Water Views. Sitting on one of the highest points in Agnes Water, enjoy BOTH sunrise and sunset from Agnes to 1770 & Bustard Heads from the 13m long verandah. Open to guests for the first time September 2021, our lovingly restored cottage has been finished with your comfort in mind. Enjoy the quiet bush block with native animals aplenty. While private and peaceful, you are only 1km to the main beach, and 3 minutes to shops, cafes & restaurants at the bottom of the hill. The space Our cottage sits on one of the highest points in Agnes Water and brings stunning views of Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy right through to Bustard Heads. The 13-meter-long verandah is a great place to see something you can rarely view from one spot - both a sunrise and a sunset. Watch this from either one of the 2 bar areas, dining table or double couch. Three bedrooms accomodate five for sleeping. The cottage itself isn’t large, so while it sleeps 5, it’s ideal for couples or a small family with older teenage children. We can’t allow pets unfortunately, as we made the decision not to fence the block because a dozen or so wallabies (and the occasional roo) call the hill home. Goannas, birds and other native wildlife also visit our bush block. Please be kind to them. Particularly the local Kookaburra who will actually let you pat him! Keep an eye out for whales during whale season or just enjoy the sailing boats go by. Bring binoculars! Our cottage has been lovingly renovated for your comfort. It’s simple but very comfortable. The kitchen is a reclaimed country kitchen that we purchased second hand from the Sunshine Coast. We brought it back to its former glory. The breakfast bar, some of the last milled timber from Fraser Island, a beautiful spot to enjoy your meals or have a coffee. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern necessities for a relaxing stay. Double door fridge and freezer, gas five burner stove, electric oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher. Tea, coffee and some basic cooking supplies also provided. Wi-Fi is available and the open plan living room has a large smart TV. A GoogleHub speaker and a selection of books, board games, and 2 boogie boards are available for your use. The main part of the house has a new air-conditioning unit that warms for the very short Agnes winter and cools the house in summer. Ceiling fans are also in two of the bedrooms and a tower fan in the third. The coastal breeze is always beautiful. New fly screens and shutters on all windows. Sheridan towels, great quality sheets and new high quality beds, pillows and mattresses help ensure a good nights sleep. All cleaning and bath products are good quality, organic or eco friendly. The deck features a BBQ, bar fridge and six seater dining table. It also has two bar areas and a two seater chair. This is where you will spend much of your time breathing in the fresh air and soaking in the view. House has full laundry facilities with new front load washing machine and dryer. Please note we are strictly no pets and no parties. Please bring your own beach towels. Guest access You will have access to the whole property
