Home in Bowling Green

This is a cozy home near WKU in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We are a 3 min walk to WKU and 30 min drive to Mammoth Cave. We live here a lot of the time (but not when you are here!) so when you stay it is like staying at a friend's house - everything you need. Lots of space & comfortable beds. We look forward to welcoming you! The space We live here much of the time (but not when you are here!), so home has everything you'll need: coffee, tea, snacks, dishes, laundry, etc. Master bedroom: 1 king bed Second bedroom: 1 queen bed Third bedroom: 1 twin bed Living room: 2 fold down couches TV: We recently got a tv. You can use it with streaming services and are welcome to use our Amazon Prime account. If you want to use other streaming services, you will have to use your log in because we don't have other accounts. We don't have cable or local channels. Well, at least we don't pay for these and I don't actually know how they work, so if you know how to connect to them, maybe you can. Please note that this is the house where we live a lot of the time (when we do not have Airbnb guests), so it is not in hotel-like condition. Our clothes are in the closet, food in the fridge, and shoes near the entry. We hire someone to do a thorough cleaning before guests arrive, change all the sheets, make sure there are fresh towels, and plenty of coffee, tea, and snacks. But please know that this is like visiting a friend's well-maintained and cleaned house, rather than staying in a hotel. Upstairs: The upstairs has a mother-in-law apartment where our quiet professor friend lives less than half the year. His small apartment is separate from the downstairs and has its own exterior entrance. He is only here part of the year. There is not a good Airbnb option to check that shows "residential house with additional apartment on premises" so we wanted to clarify here. The only place you may encounter our professor friend is when he walks past your back door to his steps/entrance on the side of the house. Our cats live here when we are here (NOT when we have guests). However, even though we clean thoroughly prior to guests arriving, if you have any allergies we suggest you stay in a place that is cat-free at all times. Guest access Parking is in our driveway. There is room for several vehicles. You can also park on the street in front of the house if you like. Please do not park under the tree, as it needs trimmed and we don't want to risk a branch falling on your car. Other things to note Kids: Because we have three children, our house is especially well-suited to families. There are toys, costumes, and books for kids to play with. We have a pack and play and upon request we can put outlet covers in all unused plugs. If you need something particular, let us know. We know what it is like to travel with children and want to make it as easy as possible for you. Cats: Our cats live here when we are here (NOT when we have guests).
