Spacious one bedroom annex in Hampshire village

Little Ashbrook is a newly renovated annex adjacent to our main home, on the edge of the pretty Hampshire village of Abbotts Ann. Just 5 minutes walk to 2 village pubs and an excellent award-winning, well stocked village shop and post office. Conveniently located to explore Iron Age forts, Stonehenge, Avebury, the bustling market town of Stockbridge, the Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, the New Forest and the South Coast. London Waterloo is an hour by train. A perfect escape! The space Little Ashbrook is a spacious newly renovated self contained annex offering singles and couples the perfect place to stay when working away from home or to escape from the frenetic pace of life. The front door leads into the entrance hall. With 3 doors off it. The first is the kitchen which is very well equipped with a table and stools and large bifold doors that open up onto a gravelled area for warmer days. The second door along the hallway leads to our private office which we access from the outside when we need to use it ensuring that you are not disturbed. The final door leads to the beautiful dual aspect large living room with bi-fold doors looking over the front garden and fields at the back, giving a fabulous light airy feel - on a warm day the inside and outside become one; on a rainy day, you can watch the weather unfold from a warm spot inside! There is a 65" tv with Netflix, Prime and Disney+ and if you're feeling a little more competitive there's a full size football table! Upstairs the bedroom offers a large super king bed made of rimu wood that we had shipped over from New Zealand; the mattress is made of organic cotton and is twin sprung. The views look over fields. The bed linen is all 100% cotton with a 200 thread count. Adjacent to the bedroom is the shower room which has a digital control ensuring the perfect temperature every time. There is another room upstairs used as a store room and is private. The property is accessed via electric gates giving you complete security for your car; access will be by a key fob. Outside the kitchen and living room is a gravel area with an outside table and chairs. On the other side of the living room is a sunken terrace area - ideal for enjoying sundowners, watching the bats in the summer and occasional appearances from our resident barn owl. In the field that you look over we are gradually increasing the number of wildflowers to bring it back to a full wildflower meadow - we finally have wild orchids growing! Guest access An office downstairs and store room upstairs are private. My husband occasionally works from home in the office which is accessed via an outside door direct into the office ensuring you aren’t disturbed. Other things to note We will provide organic milk, butter, fresh eggs, bread, jam, tea, coffee and sugar for you to make your own breakfast in the morning - if you have any specific requirements, just ask and we will try and meet them! We would be grateful that you don’t go into either the study or our store room - they are private areas. Thank you.
