The Annex at Retreat House

Retreat House is an 18th century merchant's house located a few metres from the Strand and Exe estuary in Topsham. Recently refurbished, we have 2 guest suites included which are separate to the main house with independent access. The Studio is on the ground floor with a double bed, en-suite shower room and kitchenette (kettle, coffee machine, microwave, sink, toaster and fridge). The Attic occupies it's own floor accessed via a private staircase with twin beds and a bathroom. The space The outside door opens into a private hallway leading directly to the Studio and the two flights of stairs that lead to the Attic. There is a door to the main house which will be locked. The Studio is bright, clean and airy, and furnished to create a comfortable base to return to after a day exploring the area. It has an en-suite shower room, double bed, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, sink, fridge and microwave and table for two. The Attic consists of a bedroom and bathroom on its own floor in the eaves of the house with exposed beams and lovely views across the roof tops and river glimpses from the velux window. Please note that the as the two rooms are separated by two flights of stairs the accommodation is more suited to families with older children or adults (although a cot can be provided if needed).
