Kennett Square Horse Farm: Teal Room

Private room in 1840 farm house located 5 min from Longwood Gardens and on a working Horse Farm. Queen size bed on the 3rd floor. Shared entrance, bathroom & mini kitchen/laundry. On site horse back riding lessons available on our lesson horses for all levels. Also nearby is Winterthur, Chaddsford Winery, Gala Winery, Brandywine Battle field, Brandywine River Museum as well as local shopping/dinning in Kennett Square. We also provide stabling for guests traveling with horses/goats. The space THIRD floor private bedroom with a Queen size bed is called the Teal Room. It is for 1 guest (special arrangements can be made with host for 2). It has a shared entrance, bathroom (ON THE FIRST FLOOR ) and kitchen (no range)/laundry with guests in our Blue Room. Guests traveling with friends can rent both rooms on the 3rd floor if they want to stay together or if someone wants more privacy they can rent both rooms on 3rd floor. We also have a private 2nd floor bedroom called the Burgundy room which shares the entrance and bathroom. Home is under some minor cosmetic renovations. Guests are welcome to help themselves to any fruits/ veggies in the Gardens:) Guest access We have 3 stalls available for stabling. $40/night per horse or other outside animals. We provide light bedding and water. Guests care for their own horses. On site horseback riding lessons available on our school horses. Lessons are scheduled and paid for separately. Guests are welcome to visit the horses in the barn. Please do not feed the animals. Due to safety reasons, if you would like to see the riding arena's please ask a trainer to accompany you so the horses do not get spooked. Thank you. During your stay Hostess lives on farm and is available and also easy to reach by text. Your hostess and her assistant are professional horse trainers. In addition your hostess is an avid Salsa dancer and would be happy to recommend places for Salsa dancing. Other things to note There are cats in the house separate from the Air Bnb space. We do NOT allow outside guests/visitors (only those that reserved the room are allowed in house) There is no “restocking”. Teal Room is on 3rd floor. Bathroom is on FIRST floor.
