Description

Enjoy easy, flexible check-ins with keyless entry. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Knoxville, 12 minutes from UT Medical Center/UTK, and 15-20 minutes from ORNL. Situated right off I-40, which leads to the Great Smoky Mountains and is the main route through Knoxville, this spot is ideal for both weekend getaways and extended stays. Plus, it's located right off a scenic greenway path and a park with a disk golf course for added relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. The space My home is a warm and inclusive space where everyone is welcome, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, size, or age. I invite you to make this space as much a part of your story as you are of its. The room is fully furnished with a comfortable full size Bed with a pillow top, a desk, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot for your convenience. The bathroom is just steps away from the bedroom, and I’ve provided towels, TP, a hair dryer, and other essentials in case you forget anything. You'll have access to the kitchen and stove, and I’ve made sure to stock everything you'll need—your own kitchenware, including a pot, pan, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, cutting board, and cooking oil—are all located above and to the right of the stove. As I have Celiac Disease, I kindly ask that you use only these items. There's also fridge and freezer space available for your use. The washer and dryer are located at the top of the stairs, and you'll just need to bring your own detergent. The living, dining, kitchen, and outdoor spaces are all shared, but feel free to enjoy them at your leisure. You'll have your own designated parking spot in front of the unit, with additional overflow parking just around the corner. Outside, you’ll find a lovely backyard with a fire pit, outdoor sofa, and chairs for relaxing. There’s also a small garden—you're welcome to pick anything that’s ripe! I’m so glad you're here, and I hope you feel right at home during your stay! Guest access The only space that is off-limits is my personal bedroom, as that’s my private area. Otherwise, you’re more than welcome to relax and unwind in the living room, or enjoy the outdoor patio area. The kitchen is open for you to use as well, so feel free to cook or grab a snack whenever you like. I’ve also made the laundry facilities available for your convenience. Please make yourself at home in any of these shared spaces—I want you to feel comfortable and welcome during your stay! During your stay I pride myself on being clean, organized, and respectful of others’ space. I work full-time and am also a college student, so I tend to keep a quiet schedule, spending most of my time at work or studying. When I am home, I usually stick to my own space, but I’m always happy to chat if you like to get to know each other! A couple of days each week, I work out of town and my dogs, Percey and September, go with me. When I’m home, I spend a few hours each week working with school-age kids after school, but I’m typically around and available in the evenings. Percey and September are both sweet, friendly pups who love meeting new people. They especially love getting pets—September in particular will be your best friend forever if you pet him! They’re both K9 Good Citizen certified, so they’re well-behaved. Sometimes, when I leave, they can get a little sad, and my beagle Sep can be a bit dramatic, but they tend to settle down pretty quickly. You can usually reach me by text or call if you need anything, as I sometimes work with children, I might not be able to respond right away. I’m happy to help whenever I can, though! Other things to note Uber and Lyft rides typically arrive within 10-15 minutes. If you prefer public transit, the nearest bus stop is about a 20-minute walk through the nearby park. Buses run every 30 minutes and take you directly downtown, making it a convenient option, especially for game days.
