Just 3 miles from the Sonoma Plaza (~50 miles north of San Francisco), the estate feels worlds away: quiet, sun-drenched, and surrounded by vineyards, olive, fruit & walnut trees, and a small flock of friendly sheep. Guest access While staying at The Wolf & Horseshoe, you will have full access to the Estate and Farm (kitchen, pool, property, Internet, flat screen/ cable tv in the shared living space, washer/dryer, outdoor bar, firepit, gas grill, and bocce court). During your stay 👋 Your Hosts 👩‍🦰👨‍🦱 We’re Rusti & Martin, longtime Sonoma locals and 12-year Airbnb Superhosts. The Wolf & Horseshoe is our personal home, and we host with the same care and intention we bring to everything we love — design, food, wine, and meaningful gathering. You’ll have plenty of privacy, but we’re always happy to share winery, restaurant, and local experience recommendations. You may cross paths with other guests or our three goofy, gentle (and very popular) farm dogs, who live primarily outdoors (and never in the guest rooms). 🐶 There is a good chance that if we are around the house, we will be tending to the sheep, dogs and farm... or enjoying a bottle of wine and cooking out. We do often get out and about ourselves... so are not always on property. The Guest suites are on the opposite side of the home, and there are a lot of outdoor spaces to relax, which does allow for quite a bit of privacy for our guests. Other things to note 📝 Things to Know • The pool is solar heated and typically comfortable mid-April through October (cold plunge-worthy year-round) • Lamb season is usually January–March (2026 we won't have lambs as we lost our ram, but will have one soon to start back up!) • Quiet hours begin at 10pm per Sonoma County regulations • Sonoma County TOT Certificate #: 1310N • If you are up for adventure, bring your bike as you can ride to restaurants and wineries-- and it's quiet and peaceful with views of the vineyards, olive trees, hills and more. Just note you will have to ride on a very busy road for about 5 minutes (with a big shoulder) to get to town.
