Our charming country home on the billabong is peaceful, comfortable, very spacious and serene. On the edge of the bush and town we are visited by many bird species. Our retreat has 2 private outdoor areas: a country garden patio & a bbq dining area with access to the bush. Lots of off-street parking. The space Our beautifully furnished two bedroom house has disabled access including a front door ramp, wide doorways, no internal steps and a large bathroom with safety rails and a shower chair available upon request. All areas have split-system air-conditioning. We also have a BBQ for outdoor cooking and enjoying the warm evenings. The spacious main room looks out on both the front country garden and the native bushland at the rear, that forms a haven for many birds. The retreat has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. A separate work space is provided with Wifi. We provide a TV and Fetch TV set-top box, allowing guests to use their own Netflix accounts and also access Fetch TV programs. A welcome food pack with local produce is provided. Guest access Guests have full use of the residence and option of one or both bedrooms. If the extra bedroom is required, guests need to book in at least 3 guests for the second bedroom to be opened. Both bedrooms have the option of twin or double format, so the space is suitable for up to four adults (great for one or two couples) or a family with children over 12yo. If two bedrooms are required but you only have two adults who require separate areas, you will still need to book in the extra person (3 guests) for the second bedroom to be opened. Other things to note A welcome food "hamper" is provided, including home-made bread, eggs & locally smoked bacon, fresh fruit and a bottle of regional wine. Please mind your speed, as the Retreat shares our driveway and we have our old pet cat, Pippin, out during the day.
