A beautiful riverside home with hot tub in the lush Devon countryside. Stylishly designed, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open family room and kitchen, separate lounge & utility room/WC. It’s perfect for two families with children. It has a luxury hot tub, a swim platform, deck/patio areas, a kids play area & 12ft trampoline. The riverside garden is stunning. It’s perfectly positioned on the edge of a lovely village, with easy access (20mins) to beautiful beaches and the moor (20 mins). The space Our detached home is nestled quietly down from a country lane and has a waterfront setting, with the Harbourne River running along the length of the garden. Set in a 1/3 acre plot, there’s lots of space and it feels like a very secluded spot, even though it’s on the edge of the wonderful village of Harbertonford. The garden is glorious, with seating areas and play areas, as well as the hot tub. The swim deck at the end of the garden means guests can have access to the water to enjoy a paddle, or for the braver, a plunge! There’s plenty of places to relax in the garden, and we can offer you our BBQ and pizza oven to make the most of the beautiful setting. There’s also a great play area for children with slide and swings, an outside toy box crammed with goodies, and a trampoline. The front area is tarmac, and houses plenty of car parking space as well as being a great area for football, bike riding or skateboarding. There are 6ft goals for a 5-a-side match too! There’s a large, luxury hot tub available for guests to use which seats 5 people, and enjoys a wonderful waterside setting. Constantly set at 38 degrees, it’s ready whenever you need it. In the evening, the river lights make it a very special place to enjoy an alfresco meal or drink, or just gaze at the stars. The house is beautifully designed and newly renovated, with everything you’ll need for a relaxing week. It’s our family home, so those who book will enjoy a home-from-home experience and won’t mind the odd family photo, or clothes left in wardrobes (we’ll always make sure there’s separate hanging space for clothes and drawers for guests). On the plus side, as it’s our home there’s lots of toys for children, as well as WiFi, and a smart TV and a PlayStation. Guests can use our paddle board at an extra cost (£100 for a week). The master suite has a super king sized bed (and en-suite) and the second bedroom has a king sized bed. The two further bedrooms, although doubles, are children's rooms, so the beds are singles or bunk beds. Adults could use the single beds, but we don’t recommend that adults sleep in the bunks as they are for children. There’s a utility room with washing machine and separate tumble dryer, as well as a downstairs cloakroom/boot room, which is perfect for coming back after muddy walks or beach trips. There’s a greenhouse and raised beds, and guests are free to pick veg from them throughout their stay. Guest access Guests have access to our whole house, including the hot tub.
