Reconnect and unwind in this self contained, comfortably stylish beach stay located on the bottom floor of the house. Sea Star offers the blue expanse with the oceans edge a short walk away. An ideal retreat for surfers, lovers or friends who are keen to catch the waves or sight the migrating whales from meters outside the door. The space Situated on stunning Black head reserve, this unique style holiday home boasts easy access to the ocean from both the front and back of the house. Sea Star is a self contained open plan area on the lower floor of the house, (right side), light filled and equipped with everything that you might need to make your stay feel homely. Enjoy a king sized bed and a rotating mounted Smart TV, air conditioning and European Oak timbered floors, and all water is filtered. The kitchenette is equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, air fryer, microwave, pots and an electric frying pan. The living area is spacious and opens out to the sea breeze. High speed Wifi is available. Enjoy the seven miles of stunning coastline and the local 'Blue Swimmer' café just a short walk away. Guest access Sea Star is located at the front, on the LOWER floor of the right side of the house . The entrance to Sea Star is through the sliding door to the far right. Enjoy access out to the headland and yonder via the front or the backyard. Just outside the room is an outside shower for after your surf or swim. There is a small gas BBQ in the back yard for your use. The back yard gate opens out to the expansive headland and rock pools are just a short walk away. If we are around, my dog Meesha will possibly greet you. She loves visitors! Please ensure that upon booking confirmation you review the itinerary that is sent to you for access details. During your stay Sea Star is private and self-contained so it's entirely up to our guests how much interaction they have with us. Meesha and I live up stairs, although we are not always around. It would be a pleasure to meet with all of our guests although we completely understand that sometimes this doesn't happen. We respect that some guests prefer total privacy and a quiet getaway from the rest of the world. By all means, please do so. Enjoy! Other things to note Gerroa is a 40min drive from Wollongong, 2 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Gerroa is a coastal town and the perfect place to relax and unwind offering a variety of activities to everyone’s needs; - a short walk to Seven Mile beach - swimming, fishing, windsurfing, walking, or take a surf lesson - catch a whiting, bream or flathead from the beach - wander the rock platforms or snorkel the rock pools - play golf at the Gerringong Golf Course that overlooks Walker's Beach - enjoy the spectacular coastal walk from Gerringong to Kiama. Other walks include the Minamurra Rainforest, Barren Grounds, Drawing Room Rocks, Saddleback Mountain lookout - visit Jamberoo Family Fun Park approx. 30min drive - enjoy day trips to Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, Historic Berry, Kiama or the Southern Highlands - Visit local wineries, cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs - and of course Gerroa’s 'Blue Swimmer' café. - or just snooze to the rhythm of the ocean - The local newsagent is 1km away and will cater for all your needs. An IGA is located in Gerringong and Berry and larger shopping stores such as Woolies are available in Kiama. 1 date change is available up to 1 week prior to your stay.
