Also, you can play on the 2 Golf Courses in the Santa Rosa Cove Community open to the public. Swim in nearby, Luxurious Heated Pools and enjoy your Own Private Community Pool and Jacuzzi within 30 feet of your Residence. There is Hiking & Biking Trails nearby; and for the Kids there is The Living Desert, Water Park, even a Children's Museum. Also nearby are the Polo Grounds, which are the venue for Coachella Valley Music Festival. There are a number of Casinos nearby, such as Fantasy Springs, which offers not only Gambling, but also High Quality Concerts and Entertainment. It is the most wonderful relaxing spot with outdoor activities. The restaurants are fabulous and if you want to cook, there are grocery stores, Costco, and Trader Joe's very close by. Museums, shopping, and hikes. My favorite thing to do is to walk over to the pool and relax with an iced tea and a book. For a change of scenery, my husband and I walk over to the world famous La Quinta Hotel. This is the vacation spot for the wealthy and the famous Hollywood stars and jetsetters. During the day, we have lunch and relax by the pool. You can get all kinds of drinks and smoothies from the waitstaff as you lounge by the pool. Lunch there is another treat. Do you prefer the shade or working on your tan? You can rent a little canopied area complete with lounge chairs, towels, and the comfort of your own private space. There is a spa. You can get a massage from a professional masseuse. Go for a dip in the pool, or if you are feeling energetic, swim laps if you prefer. We have often stayed in our vacation home in the off season and we know what it takes to make guests comfortable. The beds are great. The linens are crisp high count cotton. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a washer and dryer. And we live steps from the pool and the hot tub. All located at the end of our driveway. Close enough for convenience, and far enough away for your stay to be quiet and peaceful. Our home is at the end of a cul de sac. In the perfect spot. Surrounding areas, Indian Wells, Coachella Valley, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Joshua Tree, Rancho Mirage... We chat with our neighbors when we want company and find it as quiet as we would like when we want peace and serenity. We like to go on destination walks. Enjoy the exercise and the weather. Often we walk to the La Quinta Hotel to have a custom made coffee or browse the shops. Best to get around on foot for exploring locally and car if you are going anywhere else.
