Surrounded by gorgeous parks and gardens, it is easy to forget you are a ten minute walk to either the CBD, Richmond, Fitzroy or Collingwood and a five minute walk to the MCG! You'll also be able to enjoy the sunrises and beautiful views across to the Dandenong Ranges from the balcony each morning. The space This beautiful corner apartment in the art deco 'Belgravia Square' building in East Melbourne has everything you need to enjoy your stay in the city in comfort and style. It has gorgeous windows which can open up on all sides of the apartment - perfect for soaking up the views or catching a bit of the breeze. It is kitted out with a recently renovated full sized kitchen with heaps of bench space, full sized fridge and dishwasher. In my past life as a chef there's a comprehensive collection of kitchen equipment, cooking utensils and ingredients to let you cook to your heart's delight. There is a seperate large living room with comfortable chairs and couches setup. You'll also find an interesting library of books in the hallway if you'd prefer. The living room also features air-conditioning/heating as well as a ceiling fan. The mid century teak dining table is perfectly situated in front of the gorgeous main window of the living room and comfortably fits six and extends out for up to 8. Off the lounge room is a balcony where you can sit and enjoy your own space besides some Jasmine vines while being far above the bustle and gaze out onto the lovely trees of Powlett Reserve opposite. There is a large master bedroom with huge double-glazed windows taking up two walls so you can soak up stunning views across the park and out to the Dandenong Ranges in the East and down tree-lined Powlett St to the MCG. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, large built in robe, air-conditioning/heating, windows that open on both sides, black-out blinds and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom has a double bed, ceiling fan, small study desk and lovely big golden palm. Incredibly well-equipped kitchen so you can cook to your heart's content - not an empty cupboard type of Airbnb! All of the internal walls are made from solid double brick so sound doesn't travel if you close off the doors between the rooms. The bathroom has a shower with excellent water pressure and a small bath, while you'll find a European laundry behind the set of doors in the hallway with a washing machine/dryer. Please note there is no TV in the apartment at the moment but this can be arranged for longer stays of a week or more.
