Book our cozy little cabin located in the middle of the mixed boreal forest, in the heart of the beautiful Lanaudière region. Fully equipped, the accommodation is surrounded by many kilometers of nature trails. In winter, after a long snowshoe hike, the wood-burning fireplace will allow you to warm up while enjoying your favorite wine! The space The cabin on the rock is a real gem and its reputation is well established! Perched at the top of an imposing rocky cape, more or less a 5-minute walk from your parking space, you will experience a real change of scenery. The absence of running water and electricity adds to the home's unique character. A solar panel installed on the roof will be used to light your way during your stay and drinking water is transported and provided by the owners. If you have any problems or need anything, they'll never be far away. Upon your arrival, the cabin will have been heated beforehand. Drinking water, ice for the fridge-cooler and firewood will already be there. The owners will be happy to drive you to the cabin by mountain bike. The free luggage transport service will allow you to ask any questions about your stay. Hosts will also give you some guidelines before leaving and wish you a pleasant stay. On the first floor, you will find a comfortable living room where you can relax, read or even meditate in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The large table will allow you to enjoy a delicious meal or entertain yourself with a board game. The kitchen area is equipped with a small oven and two propane burners, a fridge-cooler, a counter and a sink. All dishes, utensils and cooking equipment can be found in the cabinets. Also on the first floor, an oil stove can be used on cold winter nights. Finally, there is the dry toilet, separated from the common area by a curtain. The large window allows light to enter and it feels like you're outside. Hopefully, a deer or beautiful birds will show up. On the second floor, the bedroom is equipped with a comfortable queen bed. Bedding and towels are included during your stay. A large sash window will allow you to breathe fresh air and hear the sound of birds when you wake up. Outside, a wood-burning fireplace will allow you to enjoy marshmallows under the full moon and stars. A second dry toilet is also installed for more privacy.
