2nd Floor, Downtown Den

Recently remodeled apartment is located within walking & biking distance of the beach, restaurants, shopping, university, hospital, paved and off-road bike trails. We provide comfortable amenities, local info, and a clean, cozy home. The space We are both frequent travelers, and have often used Airbnb. We know what we look for when renting a space, and have seen the ideal and not-so-ideal. So now you get to benefit from our years of experience. Please enjoy.... * A healthy environment. We use only natural, non-toxic cleaners and soaps. Linens are washed in natural, fragrance-free laundry soap. There is a Berkey water filter for drinking water (to remove chlorine and flouride). The filter on the furnace is cleaned regularly. * A well-stocked, healthy kitchen. You will have all the basics (pots, pans, organic oils, spices, coffee, tea) to be able to eat how you want to eat. * A super-comfortable queen mattress and 100% cotton linens. Little pillows and big pillows. We want you to have a good night's sleep! * Big windows with 2nd-floor views. * Yoga mat. * Slippers, umbrellas, maps, local info, and an extra coat just in case! * Window A/C unit and Standing, floor fan for hot, summer nights. * Bike and ski storage on the back porch. This is a large apartment; ~600sqft. It is on the 2nd floor, so you should be prepared to carry your things up a full flight of steps. *Please note*: Local fire codes limits us to 2 occupants (including infants). If we allow more than 2 people to stay in the apartment, we will be fined $1000. (no joke) Please do not put us at risk by bringing extra people. We have 3 other airbnb apartments just down the hall. If you have a larger group, you could rent more than one. Please note that From Nov 1-Apr 1 our town has an overnight parking ban on city streets. To provide off street parking for guest usage, we rent spaces at two local businesses. We assign them on a first come first serve basis, and when possible give priority to seniors or those with mobility difficulties. Guests will need to walk to access the parking (across the street or 2 blocks). Details upon request. Guest access You have access from both 3rd Street and Ohio Street. The building has two commercial spaces below. Access involves a flight of stairs; sorry no elevator. Bikes and skis may be stored on the back porch. Other things to note * There is a laundromat 1/2 block away. * Check-in time is after 3pm. * Check-out time is by 11am. *NO PETS * Christopher (the building owner and co-host) is an experienced Thai massage therapist. His sessions are 3 hours in length, and effectively treat chronic ailments and restrictions. Let us know ahead of time if you would like to schedule a session with him during your visit to Marquette. * 3rd street is a main street. This means it is convenient and in the heart of our small-town action. It also means you will likely hear traffic or activity on the street if the windows are open. This is NOT big-city noise, but we want you to be aware of the potential in case you desire a lot of silence. *when Checking Out, please have dishes washed and garbage/recycling in the proper receptacles!
