Your own private suite, separate from the main house. Enjoy your stay, which is like a step back in time to yesterday’s charm, a traveler’s luxury, and less than 40 miles to Yosemite’s South entrance. Knowing that a memorable experience lies in the details, we take great care in creating beautiful impressions to last a lifetime. The space 40 miles to the South entrance of Yosemite and Mariposa grove of giant redwoods. (You can stay closer to Yosemite for a higher cost, but our rate is lower for the extra 20 minute drive) Nestled in the foothills of gold country, close to Yosemite, a perfect stop for your vacation adventures! Whether you play golf or not (we also have a Frisbee Golf course on our property), you can enjoy the views of the 9th fairway of our local golf course from your private suite, including private bath and kitchenette (no stove/oven- microwave only) Deer, hawks, squirrels and other wildlife will most likely greet you in the morning and again at sunset. Please note: this is a NO SMOKING accommodation. Guest access Please relax and enjoy your private patio, right outside your French doors, overlooking the golf course. We also provide a BBQ and two additional patio areas for guests, including our beautiful She Shed! We have a Frisbee Golf Course which meanders throughout our 1.25 acre property. This area attracts many birds, filling the air with song, making it a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Other things to note Within a 5-7 minute drive from our place, you will find conveniences such as a grocery store, gas station, Blue Heron Restaurant and Yosemite Grille, open for dinners (closed Tuesdays), Fairway Cafe for breakfast and lunch. The town of Oakhurst is located 15 minutes away, heading towards Yosemite, and has more restaurants and larger grocery stores in addition to charming gift shops and antique stores.
