There's nothing like being directly on the water! Relax and rejuvenate in this Chesapeake waterfront estate home which includes private pier, hot tub and fire pit. Crab or fish off the pier or take the kayak out to see the Chesapeake bay wildlife. Try out paddle boarding! Sit around the fire pit at night or watch the stars at night while soaking in the hot tub. Make wonderful memories. Great place for families and multi family groups. The space We raised our family here and this property has provided our family and others with wonderful summer memories. Our private waterfront home has 3 bedrooms, a bonus sleeping room and 3 1/2 baths. This home awaits with 2 balconies, a huge dock and 150 feet of direct waterfront on Rockhold Creek which leads to the Chesapeake Bay. This idyllic area of Maryland is just 20 miles south of Annapolis, 15 minutes from Prince George’ s Equestrian Center and only 30 miles from Wash DC, Alexandria VA, or Baltimore. Airports BWI and Reagan International are easily accessible. You'll find that the nearby fishing village is like going back in time. This spacious home is 2500 sq ft w/ living rooms on each floor. You will have access to all outdoor decks, pier and yard. Bring a small boat along and launch off our private boat ramp -please discuss with host. When it’s chilly outside you are welcome to use our fire pit to create a comfy cozy place to sing and tell stories and maybe make s’mores. Or, soak and relax in the spa. Sit out on the dock and read a book, sip morning coffee or watch the sunset. The master au suite has a king bed, luxurious jetted tub and separate shower. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a large bonus room which can accommodate sleeping arrangements for up to 6 people with a newly added queen bed overlooking the balcony with an impressive water view, a daybed and 3 twin beds. Most larger groups usually have this space for groups with children or it is a large area for a family when more than one family is staying. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. One has a private bathroom and there is a common full bathroom in the hallway. Main floor has a family room with gas log fireplace and a living room with plantation shutters and a water view, for plenty of relaxing. FYI******** In this 3 level home, the lower level is hosts’ space and not included. They have a private walk out entry and the other main floors are locked off from one another. Currently hosts Natalie (and husband Allan) stay during the week and stay elsewhere on weekends. They have a lovable golden doodle, Lilly. When hosts are there, their apartment is completely separate and no living space is shared. They have a separate waterside entrance. Hosts are available when needed. This is a traditional Airbnb where hosts reside on the property some of the time. We respect our guests privacy and we stay out of your way. This has been a transitional year with job changes and Allan and Natalie sometimes stay in the apartment during the week, however we stay elsewhere during the weekend. We value our guests and we have been Airbnb hosts for 10 years. If you have any questions please send an inquiry.I Guest access Home is for registered guests only. No unauthorized parties, gatherings of other people at the house or a fee of $1000 will be charged. Guest must agree to house rules regarding this. Please check with host for more information. You will have access to our entire house except the basement level. We have a well-equipped kitchen for your cooking needs and all kitchen appliances including toaster, coffee maker and Keurig and spices. We have: Free Parking for several vehicles Pier use for fishing and crabbing Concrete boat ramp for launching small boats Pier to tie up smaller boats, up to 20 feet Deck with seating Kayaks Stand up paddle boards Other things to note I have several kayaks and two paddle boards that I offer to guests to use during their stay. Guests love to take a scenic kayak ride and see birds and enjoy getting away from the city. Host provides flotation devices in many adult sizes and a few smaller child sized ones for safety. It is highly recommended to bring your own life vests for children. Please consult Maryland Department of Natural resources for fishing licenses. Please put food waste and grease in the trash and not down the sink since we are on a septic system and do not have a garbage disposer with this type of system. We appreciate you helping to keep our system in working order. There are garbage bins and recycling (yellow) bin. Please take all trash out to bins when leaving. Including bathroom trash. If staying for the week, trash collection is Friday and bins need to go to the end of the driveway next to the road on Thursday night. Recycling will go in the yellow bin outside and trash goes in the green bin. Please make sure to not put sanitary products or wipes of any kind other than toilet paper down the toilet. We are on a septic system and it is important that we take care of it by being conscious of what goes down it. If you have a small boat that you want to dock, we can make arrangements for you. You must bring your own tie ropes to secure it. If the tide is high enough you may use our boat ramp to launch. Please wash and dry towels before leaving. If you have towels the morning of check out, please start the load. Washer and dryer is on the top floor behind the mirrored doors just before the master bedroom. Registration Details 000018
