Light & spacious studio, 5 minute drive from Hay

The Studio in Priory Wood is a recently converted separate outbuilding next to our home which offers complete privacy and has a spacious, light interior tastefully furnished in a retro style. The Studio is 3 miles outside the beautiful town of Hay on Wye, on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons and famous for its bookshops and annual literature, music and walking festivals as well as a host of charming independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a cinema and weekly farmers market. The space The studio downstairs is open plan, there is a cosy comfortable seating area with smart TV and Wifi. It’s a perfect place to unwind, switch off and catch up on reading a book or two. There is also a dining area and a well equipped kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave where you can rustle up some home cooked goodies with local artisan produce bought in Hay. There are two excellent independent butchers, a greengrocers and a deli which sells locally baked artisan bread. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a comfy Kingsize bed with duck feather pillows and duvet complimented with white linen bedding. You can blissfully go to sleep staring at the stars or you can pull the blinds down for peaceful darkness and countryside silence. Beyond the bedroom is a spacious en-suite shower room with a large luxury walk in shower and fluffy towels. You will have total private use of the entire studio and the private outside front lawned garden with its patio table and chairs and driveway with parking for two cars. Other things to note There is private use of an EV charger with a type 2 connector charged to guests at 3 per hour.
