Other things to note 【Guest Etiquette】 -Kyoto townhouses are wooden structures. Fireworks and tobacco, including electronic cigarettes, are strictly prohibited. Smoking is prohibited indoors and around the building. If this regulation is violated, according to the regulations of the Kyoto government, fines may be imposed. Please do not bring cigarette butts into the building. If our staff finds cigarette butts in the trash, you will be fined 1000 yen per butt. If the smell of smoke affects the next guest's stay, we may charge the room rate for one night (the regular rate for that day) as compensation, so please understand. -Bedding will be provided according to the number of guests booked. If the actual number of guests exceeds the booked number, additional charges will apply. -The stairs in the townhouse are relatively steep, so for safety, please always hold the handrail when going up and down the stairs. -Please be mindful not to make loud noises or voices to avoid disturbing the neighbors as much as possible. -The sliding doors and paper screens in the Japanese-style rooms are quite delicate, so please handle them with care.
