The luminous room, overlooking a quiet street, is located upstairs via an internal staircase, alongside the other room and the bathroom. Located in the city centre, close to café and restaurants, markets, and near the Old Port, Le Panier and the buses to the beaches and calanques. I provide good addresses and useful tips for exploring the city. Welcome ! The space Welcome home to a welcoming environment. My two rooms are reserved for women. - Your room is equipped with cotton sheets, a duvet, a bath towel, a hand towel and a bath mat. - Please remember to bring your own beach towel and indoor shoes (flip-flops, slippers) – we take our shoes off before entering the bedrooms. - Sorry, no remote working or working from home. - From my flat, you can easily walk to the town centre. During your stay My work is to make visit discover of the city, i will be please to help you to find your way to travel from here to the other cities Other things to note LOCATION, ACTIVITIES AND VISITS : - You're right in the heart of the city, on the Notre dame du Mont/Cours Julien metro station and metro station Castellane, at 15 mn to the Old-Port. - You can easily get to the Mucem Museum, the Cosquer cave, the Panier district, the History Museum, the Old Port, the Noailles market and the La Plaine stock market (Cours Jean Jaurès). - For the calanques, the beaches and the seaside, there is direct buses service from Place Castellane and around. - Marseille in summer is at the heart of international festivals : Festival de Marseille, FID film festival, Aix-en-Provence opera festival, Avignon theatre festival, Arles photography festival... PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN AND OUT OF TOWN CITY : Think about your city transport. Marseille is the largest city in France. If you are staying several days : 1- An unlimited one-week pass for all city transport at €15.50, INCLUDING the bus and ferry boat (crossing the port). For this you need to BRING a passport photo and ask at a metro office for a free season ticket "CARTE d'ABONNEMENT GRATUITE" Then load it into a machine for a week at €15.50. 2- a card for 10 journeys at €15. 3- a 72h unlimited pass at €10.80 4- Bus boat €8, 16€ AR (or free included in carte unlimited abonnement 15€50) 5- Ferry-boat (crossing the Old Port) €0.50. OUTSIDE - It's very easy to visit the region from Marseille by train or bus: Aix en Provence 25 mins; Arles 40 mins; Avignon 30 mins (TGV) or 50 mins by TER train.
