Book in advance for workshops, lectures, sport tournaments, competitions or special events as city hotel rooms are limited for events such as hockey, soccer, rugby,baseball, football, lacrosse, golf weddings, graduations, convocations - lots of events happening everywhere! Guest access Relax - covered, back deck with table and chairs and comfy bamboo rockers; beyond deck is horse farm. TV room with comfy recliners and chesterfield - put your feet up, read or watch Bell Fibe TV. Wi-Fi and free long distance phone calls (within Canada). Walking and biking trails nearby. Welcome to bring take-out foods for dinner or enjoy a beer and snacks in front of the TV. Sorry - cannot accommodate quantities of food in fridge-medication is excepted (welcome to bring a cooler and ice). During your stay Happy to provide information as needed to make your stay enjoyable. Other things to note Indoor cats live in residence (not suitable for dogs). Home is clean and quiet. Drugs and excessive alcohol not permitted. Host is happy to offer complimentary transport (one way) to either Peterborough or Lakefield for your special occasion. For families (more than 2 guests sharing one room) - there is some additional space available - for example, 2 adults and a couple of others - please message to enquire about your individual situation/costs/etc. ****CHECK-IN 3 PM - CHECK-OUT 11 AM**** (UNLESS arrangements made previous to stay).
