The Gatehouse is an exclusive, private self catering getaway for a couple or a solo traveller. It is located at the entrance to the estate and features a private 8-metre pool. It is an ideal home base to explore the local areas of Galle and beyond. Everything you need is provided in stylish, designer luxury. The washing machine and dryer make travelling easy and hiring a scooter from Epic Rides or using Uber or Pick me apps allows easy beach and local historic site access. The space Unique and sophisticated, The Gatehouse is an inland destination away from the hustle of the tourist hubs. It is luxurious with indoor/outdoor living and views of the surrounding paddy fields highlighting the ancient Pilana Raja Maha Vihara Temple. Monkeys and peacocks play overhead whilst you relax in your plunge pool; a symphony of birds awaken you from your deep, unbroken sleep in king-sized comfort. Ceiling fans overhead circulate jungle breezes. Spice and fruit-laden gardens fill your senses with the best of the Spice Isle. A complete kitchen allows you to cook and create sumptuous dishes from local fresh fruit and vegetables. The outdoor double shower and oversize bath are you're private oasis beneath the jungle canopy. Located at the entrance of 9 Provinces Estate which has recently been fully refurbished. You can enjoy all the added facilities of the main villa, but remain private and secluded. Guest access You have exclusive use of your own private villa and pool. Please note. There are no staff onsite for cleaning and cooking. Of course if you require extra towels, sheets + rubbish removal we are happy to assist. The Gatehouse villa is situated within 3 acres of lush tropical gardens and is home to a working Cinnamon plantation. We believe having no staff to disturb your tranquility, ensures a totally private experience for you and your partner. Come and go as you please. The main villa ( Wallawaa) on the property has been refurbished and is now open. You are welcome to explore the gardens or take a look through the villa. The villa is adult ONLY. Go past Pilana temple 450 metres . Just before Ankokkawala Rd, is a small unmarked road. . Turn left at Bajaj spare parts . Follow the road through the paddies 250metres . 9provinces- boutique is on your right side ( black, iron gate) . It's best to reverse into the driveway !!!!!!!
