Description

The perfect setting for family and friends (up to eight people) to gather and get away to relax. Situated on 140 acres adjacent to Still Pond Creek in Worton, there's room for everyone to spread out -- enjoy the fresh air, outdoor activities and relax in solitude watching abundant wildlife (birds, deer, rabbits, groundhogs, and more!). Chestertown is just 8 miles away with a year round farmer's market, local shopping, art galleries and more. The space Peaceful setting with patio and back porch to watch rabbits, foxes, deer and birds. Osprey nest on the barn's silo and bald eagles make their home in trees along Still Pond Creek. At the back of the property, enjoy "Dorothy's Park" overlooking the water. During warmer weather, go for a swim, go fishing, or paddle out in the canoe. Warmer months at the farm are reminiscent of summer camp, but all seasons are special. Enjoy spending time in the restored dairy barn playing foosball, pool, shuffleboard or darts. Displays feature historical waterfowl memorabilia. Well behaved smaller dogs with full flea and and tick treatment are permitted with prior permission from the owner only. An additional cleaning charge is required. The cleaning charge is minimum of $25 per dog (max 2 dogs). Please reach out to the owner in advance for required permission. Guest access February through October - Guests have access to the farm, including the main house, dairy barn and Still Pond Creek. November - January - Access to the back portion of the farm and Still Pond Creek is restricted because this area becomes a sanctuary for wildlife and migrating geese. The patio provides a great place to listen and watch the wild birds. Other things to note Depending on time of year, some farm equipment may be on site. This is a working farm planted in corn and beans.
