The space Our apartment is located in the historic House at the Golden Snake (Dům U Zlatého hada) at Karlova 18, one of the most iconic and lively streets in Prague’s Old Town. The building stands directly on the Royal Road — the ancient coronation route of Czech kings — connecting Old Town Square with Charles Bridge. On the ground floor, you’ll find a local shop that perfectly complements the authentic Prague atmosphere. The house combines centuries of history with modern comfort, offering guests a truly local experience. From this ideal location, you can easily walk to Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, and Prague Castle. The studio is located on the second floor, accessible via stairs. The main entrance to the building is through the charming shop on the ground floor — part of the authentic Prague atmosphere that makes this location so special. A baby cot and high chair are available upon request; please let us know in advance if you need them. Parking is available nearby at Old Town Parking (Alšovo nábřeží, Prague 1) for €30 per night with advance reservation. During New Year holidays (29 December – 1 January), a minimum stay of 3 nights applies. An extra guest during this period is charged €50 per night.
