Villas Gabrielle offers you all the comfort of a hotel while feeling at home. We have our own service team and chef who prepare and serve excellent meals from a menu of local and world dishes. Our luxurious Dutch colonial style house has its own riverside jungle glade, nestled amidst coconut trees, cinnamon & ginger plants and bird-of-paradise flowers, forming a voluptuous but natural tropical garden. We are 3 km away from the sea, 30min from Galle and 2.5 hrs away from Colombo's airport. The space Villas Gabrielle is nested in the middle of the nature but close to everything at the same time. We have elegant living and terrace areas furnished and decorated comfortably in the colonial style mind set. The Villa has its own swimming pool and a spacious pavilion which makes outdoor tropical living a way of live! The Grand Suite meets you as you enter Villas Gabrielle. A grand and beautiful unit of 115 sqm, with a spacious indoor as well as outdoor area that can accommodate 4 guests and up to 3 children on day beds (recommended for kids up to 13YO max). From the private terrace nicely furnished, you enter in the first bed room with a queen size bed and 2 sofas that can be used as beds for children. The attached corridor leads to an indoor bathroom with shower and to the second bedroom with a queen size bed. The open sky bathroom, which includes a shower and a bathtub, is directly accessible from this bedroom, in addition to it, there is a lounge area open to the garden. This lounge area can easily be turned into a comfortable environment for a child, as the sofa can be converted into very comfortable bed for the little one. The Family Suite consists of 2 rooms with en-suite bathrooms. This family unit of 62 sqm can accommodate 4 guests. The front room which is facing the pool and the beautiful garden has a queen size bed and attached open to sky bathroom. The backroom, accessible from the private corridor has two single beds with an open sky bathroom with shower area. There's a private terrace attached to the backroom which provides a cozy hangout for the entire family. This unit works as well for a pair of couples or friends. The suite has its own little space at the end of the hallway, for making your own tea and coffee, all free of charge. The Honeymoon Suite is a large room with a build in queen size bed and a lovely tub added to the room, this feature adds a little special something to the place. This 33 sqm suite has got an indoor bathroom with a beautiful stonewall and a polished cement shower area. An outdoor terrace faces the pool area, garden and pavilion. The Honeymoon suite has its own romantic feeling. A charming and welcoming unit, located at the end of the pool, adds an amazing view to the room In total, the property can accommodate 10 adults and 3 kids on day beds if required Guest access From the house, are available yoga lessons, massages, surf lessons, River BBQ Live authentic cooking demonstrations, fishing or personally butlered nature safari by boat on the river, nature photography by catamaran Village tour, day at beach cabana, stilt fishing (ritipanna), canoeing and paddle boat ride on the river, Galle city tour, whales and dolphin watching, jungle hiking and jungle beach. Other things to note The Villa is fully staffed by our Butler, Chef and Housekeepers. Our manager is also available at all times. Our staff is always discreet which ensures the privacy and relaxation of our guests, whilst at the same time assisting them to have a wonderful holiday experience. Our chef prepares you a wide variety of dishes ranging from international cuisine to astonishing local specialties and on top of that (there is a 15% service charge for all the meals.) Please make sure that you order your meals in advance as in order to keep our ingredients the freshest possible, we do not stock in house.
