In a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to highways for day trips to bay area hiking, wine country or quick trip to Cal Berkeley Campus for parent weekend. Car recommended - 10 minutes from Bart, 10 miles from CAL Berkeley Campus, 11 miles from Downtown Oakland, 20 miles from downtown San Francisco. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO KITCHEN OR MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM. Not luxurious but we strive to provide a clean and comfortable space for your stay. Queen size bed, bathroom with shower, small sitting area with TV, small fridge coffee maker and hot water kettle. NO MICROWAVE OR KITCHEN IN THE SUITE. This studio may not be suited for long term stay if you need a place to cook. There are 3 Ring cameras installed outside pointed at Garage, side entrance and front Door to the house/unit. Guest can use Outside sitting Area with fireplace, when weather permits. Please notify Susan by text if using the outside space. Orinda is a quiet suburb in the east of San Francisco across the Bay Bridge. The city is located just east of the city of Berkeley. Very small downtown with a few local restaurants, close to Lafayette and Walnut Creek where there are more restaurants and shopping. Orinda has limited public transportation (Contra Costa County Connection bust system) that runs on the main streets. The city is located near Highway 24 which connects to all the major freeways in the Area: 580, 680, 880 and 80. A car is recommended, but if that's not an option for you, Lyft or Uber is always available to take you to Bart which can take you to Oakland, San Francisco and around Bay Area. If planning to park at the Bart Station, be aware parking is difficult to find on weekdays after 7am. No Smoking and no pets allowed in the unit
