Dear Guest, Welcome to the Guesthouse Higashi Fujitatei in Moroyose! Our house was built 130 years ago, and we, my wife and I, dedicated many years to renovate it. Recently designated as “Japan Heritage” by the Agency of Cultural Affairs, our house, located very near the Sea of Japan in Hyôgô Prefecture, has several rooms with ancient paintings and decorations surrounded by three Japanese traditional gardens. The space We are pleased to welcome you in our house and provide you a genuine Japanese sense of hospitality in a traditional and quiet place. You will have a private lockable room, with heater and air conditioner in your room. You will be able to enjoy around some sunbathing and beautiful Onsen, Japanese Hot Springs. The nice beach of Moroyose is located only 2 minute walk from your room. My wife and I traveled a lot so we are more than able to understand and respond to the travelers' needs, just to make you feel at home! If you come by train, we can pick you up (and drive you back after your stay in our home) at Moroyose Station (few minutes by walk to the house) or Hamasaka Station (few minutes by car), whichever suits you. Both are JR Lines and the JR Pass can be used to reach both of these stations (to go then to Tottori or Kinosaki, 45 to 55 minutes by train. Or Himeji, Kyoto, Osaka...) Guest access You will have access to a large private bathroom with both shower and a big bathtub - suitable for 2 people - in a Japanese style. We provide a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, cups and cutlery for the only use of our guests. During your stay We speak Japanese, English & French. If you are interested in Japanese cooking, Mrs Fujita* can prepare you a nice dinner with several meals. The dinner will be charged 2000¥/each (approximately 15€ or 17US$ for one person). Also, if you are interested, Mrs Fujita can teach you how to elaborate Japanese traditional cooking. You will be able to watch and learn while she will be cooking for you. The course itself will be free of charge. The breakfast for 1000¥/each can be served upon request. Other things to note You will be sleeping on comfortable Japanese futon put on the floor in a private lockable room for your own.
