Welcome to Moon Suite: Your Canadian Rocky Mountain Getaway Check in to a modern, bright and spacious lower-level suite located in Jasper National Park. Relax in Moon Suite with the comforts of home after spending time exploring the vast offerings of JNP Your adventures could include skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, skating, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, star gazing, or enjoying the scenery while driving throughout the 11,000 square km's that make up JNP. The space Moon Suite's private entrance leads you into a basement suite with large windows that offer plenty of natural light. The suite is open concept and features lots of living space, a full kitchen and comfortable bedding. Works by local artisans are featured throughout the suite. Moon Suite has a full kitchen with fridge, oven and stove, microwave, and dishwasher. In the suite you will find dishes, pots and pans, baking sheets including a pizza pan, cooking utensils, cutting board, knife block, cheese grater, measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, and baking dishes in the kitchen. You will also find a toaster and blender. There is a coffee maker and kettle, and coffee grind, tea, sugar and whitener are provided. The tap water in Jasper is treated and safe to drink. You will always find salt and pepper, a variety of spices, cooking oil, dish soap and dishwasher pods, as well as dish cloths and dish towels. You can usually find vinegar, brown sugar, flour, rice, instant oatmeal and a bag of microwave popcorn in the kitchen cabinet. Please help yourself to what you would like. The nearest grocery store is located one block away. There is cable TV and WIFI internet access, as well as a variety of books, board games, puzzles, playing cards, LEGO, and craft materials. If you are traveling with small children, you will find a high chair, portable pack n' play crib, and children friendly dinnerware and utensils. Guest access The entrance to the suite is at the backside of the house, down the staircase. Please feel free to park your vehicle on the right side of the garage. Other things to note While having a car is beneficial to exploring Jasper National Park at your leisure, there are many excellent tour groups that offer transportation options, with the added bonus of an informative guide. Likewise, there are shops within walking distance where you can rent any gear you may need, including bikes, skis, and snowboards. There are two main grocery stores in Jasper, as well as one health food/speciality grocery. The selection of groceries can be limited and prices may be higher than what you can find in major urban centres. If you are staying for a few days or more, it may be advisable to purchase some groceries prior to arriving in Jasper. *** Unfortunately we do not offer laundry services at Moon Suite. We review the request for small, non-shedding pets on a case-by-case basis and a $50 pet surcharge is always applied.
