Barn conversion 20 minutes from York

Light and airy barn conversion with renovated kitchen and bathroom. One ensuite master bedroom and one upstairs twin room with an attached toilet. Patio outside for summer evenings. Only 20 minutes drive from York or 10 minutes from York Park and Ride with good train links, Katherine Cottage is a country getaway which is also perfect for seeing some of Yorkshire's greatest sights. Only 5 minutes from the A1, Harrogate, Leeds, North York Moors and Dales are all accessible in under 1 hour. The space Katherine Cottage is part of a converted 200 year+ old grade 2 listed barn complex in a conservation village. It is it within 3 acres of well kept garden, lawns with fishpond, trees, seasonal flower borders and a vegetable plot as well as a large field. You are welcome to walk round this area with dogs. We ask if you would keep dogs on the lead in the courtyard. It’s in a very quiet environment and previous guests have been a very appreciative of the seclusion and peacefulness. This is not a place for noisy and late parties as we also have elderly family and neighbours nearby. We hope our guests will have a wonderful relaxing time and feel at ease and well looked-after. Other things to note We can recommend very nice local walks where dogs can run free. The cottage isn’t suitable for young children owing to deep fishpond, steep stairs, glass shower partition etc. There is a gas stove in the living room which has recently been faulty. We are waiting for a solid wood burner to be installed.
