Description

Tent Camping just got a little more exciting at Camp Earth Connection. Try out one of our 3 Tree Tents. Avoid the hard damp ground & connect to the trees. The tents are just a few feet above the ground in a forest or field campsite w/fire pit. Tent sleeps up to 2. (Sorry adults only.) The facilities are alcohol & drug free and located next to a State Forest w/20 miles of hiking & biking trails. A short walk to showers & amenities. WiFi at main camp. Bring your own tent if you prefer. The space Campers must bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, towels, etc for all campsites. (And if not using tree tents, campers must bring their own tents.) Campsites are a part of Camp Earth Connection (CEC), a small woodland campground, located on a beautiful parcel of land with 62 acres of forests and fields surrounded by the Hammond Hill State Forest. With just 18 cabins/campsites in total, each site is unique and offers different levels of privacy and solitude. Camp Earth Connection offers individuals and families a chance to connect with each other and nature in a peaceful beautiful setting. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited to ensure this peaceful atmosphere and to allow folks to find serenity through our natural environment. At CEC we are environmentally conscientious and do our best to preserve the natural surroundings and natural resources. We incorporate composting and recycling into our daily routine. We understand the importance of reducing the amount of resources we use, and re-using and re-generating whenever possible. Camp Earth Connection welcomes and values people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We do our best to make sure our guests feel safe, cared for and respected. We of course expect the same in return. Stay Safely at Camp Earth Connection Know we are doing everything we can to ensure a clean and sanitary facility for your visit. In order to do so we will need your assistance in following our guidelines and instructions to maintain a clean facility. We are a small campground with private sites, so this shouldn’t be too challenging. Shared spaces though, like our shower-house, bathrooms, dish-washing station and water spigots will require you to maintain social distancing and limit the number of people using facilities at the same time. There will be instructions posted and basic cleaning supplies to disinfect these areas after you use each. The staff will be cleaning all the facilities daily when we have guests and before guests arrive. Cabins will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guest stays. Camp Earth Connection can offer you a peaceful and relaxing experience during these stressful times. If we are all considerate and conscientious, we can stay healthy and enjoy a wonderful experience in nature and with each other. Guest access The facilities at CEC include: • WiFi available at the main camp. • Hot showers and compost toilets available at the shower house. Compost toilets are lighted, clean and designed to be odor free with built in fans for ventilation. • A dishwashing station • A wildlife pond filled which attracts local mammals and birds including: deer, skunk, fox, fishers, coyotes, raccoons, Canadian geese, wild mallards, blue herons and more. The listed are just some that have been sighted in the vicinity of the pond. • Pavilions, a green house, gardens and trails for our guests to visit. • Access to state forest trails, enjoyed by mountain biker, hikers, runner, berry pickers, and other outdoor enthusiasts Other things to note Make sure to use directions sent to you once your reserve your site. Guests should not depend on Internet or GPS for directions to the cabin. GPS directions may lead you down impassable abandoned dirt roads. Please make sure to review “Policies and Rules”
