Home in Ellsworth

This house is a turn of the century farm house with rustic charm and a camp-like feeling. Just outside of Ellsworth city limits but feels like a rural setting with acres of field and woods near the Union River. It is a short 30 minute drive to Acadia National Park and the perfect place to kick off your vacation adventures. The space Manfred House is a 100 year old farmhouse hand built by my grandfather. It sits on 45 acres near the Union River and from the back deck you can watch birds , deer and all of nature. But, your only 5 minutes from downtown and 30 minutes from Acadia. Guest access Guests have the entire house, deck and yard to themselves. Other things to note The house is very near the Union River-but the river is not assessable from the house. The dam is near by and is a great fishing spot.
