Description
Hi there! I’m a Film Festival Producer, offering my London apartment while I’m travelling and working on festivals outside of London. I adore my apartment and hope you will too. It is spacious and stylish in a brand new development and right in the heart of vibrant Dalston (but located on a side street, so it’s nice and quiet!). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The space Our apartment sits on the 7th floor of a newly built luxury building in the heart of lively, trendy Dalston. The building is surrounded by incredible restaurants, vintage stores, cafes and bars. Two tube/ overground stations, Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland, are less than 5 minutes walk away and multiple buses service the area. This is a perfect place for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers and offers all of the comforts of home. The bedroom is airy and bright, with plenty of storage space for belongings. The bed is a King and very comfortable. Fresh, hotel-quality linen, towels and slippers will be waiting for you on arrival. The bedroom has a soft and creamy colour carpet, so we take off shoes to keep the room clean. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a powerful showerhead for nice, hot showers. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The large open-plan kitchen includes high spec, integrated modern appliances – everything you may need to cook a great feast! Complimentary tea and coffee are provided. That being said, Dalston is fantastic for its variety of bars and restaurants. The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day. With a comfy sofa, TV and DVD player, and an array of books, you are guaranteed to feel at home. Floor to ceiling windows give plenty of light throughout the apartment, creating a fresh, welcoming and homely feel. The balcony is a great place to enjoy a coffee or a glass of beer/ wine. It is west facing, so you may see a lovely sunset too. The building is new, has a 24/7 concierge desk and a roof terrace with incredible views of the city. If you have a 3rd person/ child, please let us know and we can arrange for a blow up mattress for the living room. Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost fob, so please be careful with it. All the rooms in our apartment are equipped with day and night blinds, to provide privacy through the day, while letting the light in, and keep the world out at night. They work on a very simple principle, with an additional layer of horizontal strips that can be raised or lowered depending on your needs. Each blind is operated via a pull cord – but you need to be careful when lower them down and pulling them up. To lower the blinds, the day (white) blind needs to be lowered first (left hand side cord of each blind), before the night (black) blind is lowered (right hand side cord of each blind). To raise the blinds, it’s the opposite. The night (black) blind needs to be raised first (right hand side cord of each blind), before the day (white) blind can be raised (left hand side cord of each blind). If you attempt to pull up the white blind before the black blind has been fully raised, then that is likely to break the blind as the load will be too heavy for the mechanism. A link to videos with instructions will be shared with you before your check-in date – please contact us if you haven’t received it. ***Please note that the charge to repair broken blinds is £200 per blind, so please do try to use as instructed to avoid this fee. The apartment is non-smoking, but you are welcome to smoke on the balcony. Please don’t throw cigarette butts onto the playground below! Please NO parties and NO outside guests.
