Moon Rock Cottage BnB With Gorgeous Waterfront

Welcome to Moonrock! Our beautiful waterfront cottage is nestled in the heart of Muskoka. A quick two minute drive to Bala for the shops, Ice cream, restaurants and our local bakery. Close to trails for hiking or relax on the dock or deck. Not only will you enjoy all the creature comforts offered at our cottage, you can explore the local lakes, stores, natural features and great local restaurants in the area. A true natural getaway for you and your family! The space Moon Rock has three bedrooms including a large master bedroom complete with King size bed. Each bedroom includes fresh linens, towels and duvets. The space provides 1 1/2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also BBQ provided. Enjoy the large living space. Curl up by the fireplace or watch the 60 inch TV with Chromecast and Roku to watch your favourite shows. There's lots of space for everyone! Puzzles and board games are available at the cottage but bring your favourites for great nights of gaming with family and friends. If you prefer, a Wii system is also provided for the more electronically inclined. The waterfront is a highlight and is very accessible, just steps away with only 3 wide stairs to the dock and water. There is also lots of space for chairs, a picnic or an evening fire at the fire pit. The shallow water is also great for all ages and gradually gets deeper for those who like to swim. Canoe, kayak and two paddle boards are also provided, including lifejackets. Please note: The water levels are higher in the spring so the docks are not connected until sometime in May. In the evening, enjoy a coffee on the large deck and watch the stars or enjoy the frequent local wildlife. Our waterfront is frequented by a family of beavers and we often see loons. Guest access Whole cottage Other things to note The waterfront is equipped with a dock, as well as a canoe and two paddle boards for guest use. These are available from May to October. In the winter, there is access to five sets of snow shoes to explore the area. Our snow removal service clears the driveway if there is a significant snowfall to ensure easy access in and out of the driveway.
