The space Its a big old house, 3 floors, with large rooms. There's a log fire and piano. The open plan kitchen/dining/Hall is spacious and comfortable. Plockton is both romantically beautiful and warmly welcoming. The inn is just opposite, with real ale and excellent seafood. Lively traditional music evenings. The sea loch, Loch Carron, is yards away. Look up the Plockton website! You can get here by car, train, boat or by private airplane. There have been opera singers staying, painting and drawing courses, walking groups from the USA , ashtanga yoga sessions, seaweed foraging days, bridge playing weekends and quite a few wedding parties! There are always a variety of artworks for sale on the walls and in the sculpture garden. Adult groups of family or friends are perfect. If you enjoy the Scottish highlands, the sea AND art, you will love here! Guest access Guests have access to the 3-storey front of the building and all the garden. There is a front door into a porch, good for coats and boots. The owner retains the back wing of the building with totally separate back doors. Although she is often away, these back rooms are not accessible. There is one place for parking at the front, onto Innes Street. And ample parking usually on the street or in the harbour car park, just 50 metres away. Other things to note Plockton is just off the NC500 and very near the Isle of Skye! It ticks all the boxes...
