Francesca and Luigi The space We have lovingly renovated this house, in a special neighborhood, that of Piedigrotta, thinking of you who choose Sicily and Scicli to get to know its history, traditions, culture, cuisine, and such original and authentic people. You will experience your vacation in a welcoming atmosphere, full of light and life. Nestled in one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city and newly renovated, Via Tivoli is located in the center of Scicli, a few steps from the late-Baroque Church of San Bartolomeo, in front of the rock settlement of Chiafura and a few meters from our other house Via Piedigrotta. The house is on two floors. Once inside, we will welcome you in a comfortable “rustic chic” living environment, with a fully equipped built-in kitchen and exposed stone walls. In front of you, two ancient and mighty stone arches lead to two alcoves that we have used, one for the relaxation area with a comfortable sofa (and where we place the third extra bed if required) and a flat-screen TV and the other for the elegant bathroom with shower. The upper floor houses the romantic and bright double bedroom, overlooking the pretty panoramic terrace. We have furnished it with love and attention, trying not to miss anything, to those who want to spend their vacation in Scicli and Sicily, at any time of the year, perhaps thinking of a vacation with friends or relatives, who can stay independently in nearby Via Piedigrotta and in a neighborhood that still maintains all its authenticity. The house comfortably accommodates 2 adults with the possibility of quietly adding a third bed and a crib. It is designed with respect for the environment and equipped with heating and air conditioning, washing machine, TV with satellite system, fridge and induction stove. You can count on the possibility of parking your car (not too big) for free and within walking distance. The house will be at your complete disposal. Romantically relaxed in the large double bed, you will be kissed by the sun and you can enjoy pleasant moments on the pretty terrace, equipped right in front of you. Luigi and I, Francesca, will be at your complete disposal throughout your stay. If you'd like, before you arrive, send us a list of what you'd like to find at home. We'll buy it on your behalf. It's a convenient solution if you plan to arrive at particular times or days. I love this corner of the world and I will provide you with all the necessary and desired advice to make your vacation unforgettable. You will stay in the Piedigrotta district, behind the beautiful late-Baroque church of San Bartolomeo. You will enjoy the friendliness of the neighbors, always kind and smiling. A two-minute walk will take you to the main square of Scicli, Piazza Italia and from there Via Francesco M. Penna and the heart of the historic center. You will find yourself immersed in the Vigata of Inspector Montalbano, surrounded by churches and palaces, which appear around every corner. The cost of electricity is included up to 20 kWh/week (based on normal weekly consumption). Only extra consumption will be considered at the end of the stay (0.75 Euro/kWh) Guest access The house will be at your exclusive disposal. Romantically relax in the large double bed, you will be kissed by the sun, especially in the middle of winter, and you can enjoy pleasant breakfasts on the terrace, equipped right in front of you.
