Beautiful Summer Home in Historic Sackets Harbor

We are the longest running Airbnb in Sackets Harbor. Pet friendly with parking. Short-term leases January 2020 through May 2020 available. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom two-story home three blocks from the main business district in the Village of Sackets Harbor, and yes you can see Lake Ontario from the Bay Window and upstairs bedroom. Long-term business travel or family vacation perfection. Ideal for family reunions and wedding events as many of our guests have already experienced! The space This historic listed house was built in the early 1900s and is truly a Sackets Harbor space with all the character and complete coziness for a really wonderful vacation.Uniquely themed with ajourd'huis abroad and beach-themes. It was originally a lathe and plaster build, but has been updated heavily upstairs for better insulation and repair with dry walls. The downstairs has received updates over the decades by previous owners -- most recent a 1990s kitchen/dining room/living room. The downstairs bathroom has been updated for 2016 standards. The plumbing, electrical, and hvac system have been updated in 2016 and air conditioning was installed as well for 2016. Many technology updates have been included to help make this house a "smart and secure" home. Hot Tub is available for guest use. We ask that all guests keep the hot tub in clean condition. Guest access This is the entire house, excluding basement. The house has a stocked/fully equipped kitchen, with all cooking essentials such as coffee machine, ice cream maker, toaster, coffee grinder, pop corn maker, utensils, saucepans and basics pantry items , which are made available to our guests. We also provide health & beauty basics such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper and hand wash as well as providing linen, towels and sheets. Please note that Airbnb does provide receipts that are acceptable for reimbursement with your Department. PARKING: There is parking available on premises at least 3 cars. We have newly refurbished our drive way. WINTER MONTHS: In the winter months, we have two nice and friendly cats living in the basement. If you are allergic to cats, please let us know in advance so we can make alternative pet arrangements for your stay. PET FRIENDLY AIRBNB - fees applicable Our listing is the only pet friendly listing in Sackets Harbor, however due to irresponsible owners causing substantial pet damage to incurred, additional pet fees/pet cleaning fees now apply. We charge an additional $20 per night, per pet and there is an additional $30 pet cleaning service charge. Additional pet cleaning fees apply if the house rules are not adhered to. The pet is not to be running around or being left unattended at any time in the house. When guests leave the pet must be with you or kenneled/caged. You must pick up after you pet and all pet waste is to be bagged before going into the pin. Guests will be held responsible for any damage done by their pet. MISSING/STOLEN/BROKEN ITEMS: Should you break, damage, steal or inadvertently take any of our possessions with you ( linen, towels, kitchen utensils, bed sheets& cups etc) you will be billed for the cost of the goods plus delivery charges. If you fail to report the incident prior to leaving the premises you will be charged a $50 Discovery fee per item. Please check that you have returned all our possessions prior to leaving. Any broken items must be reported immediately to the host. NO SMOKING inside.
